About Me

Hello, I’m Olivia Montoya! I’m a 25-year-old artist, writer, programmer, and all-around creative from Northwest Connecticut. I’m currently taking time off from pursuing a computer science degree with graphics specialization from Stanford University.

I’m passionate about combining my interests in visual art, writing, and computers, whether in my hobbies or in a career. In my free time I create underground independent publications and diverse narrative video games. In particular, I care deeply about the potential for science fiction and fantasy to inspire and to gain personal growth and connection through the vulnerability of writing about oneself.

I also teach workshops about underground self-publishing and organize the Litchfield County Zine Fest, Connecticut’s first zine fest.

In the next five years, I see myself working on creative programming projects and other interactive media, continuing to self-publish, and expanding my skills in the visual arts and graphic design.
